Tofas JV to invest $1 billion in Turkish plant
Fiat's
Turkish joint venture, Tofas, plans to invest US$1 billion to produce its Linea
replacement, adding different variants to the Tofas plant.
Tofas, a joint-venture (JV) between Turkey's Koc
Holding and Italy's Fiat, is to expand its investment programme and spend a
total of US$1 billion to produce three new cars in Turkey, mainly destined for
export, according to the Zaman newspaper.

FCA: now the real journey begins
Trading has begun in
the shares of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles which are listed on the New York Stock
Exchange under the stock ticker symbol “FCAU”.
The shares opened on 14 October at a price of $9. The
price rose briefly before ending the day at $8.92. Considering the Dow Jones
industrial average dropped 222 points late in the day, this was no mean achievement. The stock also trades on
an exchange in Milan, Italy.

FCA reveals vendors for new Recife plant
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), the company planned as
a merger between Fiat Group and Chrysler, remains on schedule to open its new
plant in Recife, Brazil with production set to roll in the second quarter 2015.
The company has
recently announced the names of 11 companies that will be integrated into a new
supplier park to support the new plant.
