GM/US Army to probe fuel cell military vehicles
Next Month, General Motors and the US Army Tank Automotive Research,
Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) will reveal a fuel cell electric
vehicle; as Nikola Motor also opts for fuel cells but for Class 8 trucks.

First turbine truck to bow in 3 years
For the second
time this year and only the fourth time in 19 months, demand for Class 8 trucks
in the US rose faster than the supply. However, new generation hybrid turbine
trucks are unlikely to fill the gap anytime soon.

Turbine truck set to overtake diesel Class 8s?
Nikola Motor Company (NMC)
of Salt Lake City, Utah claims it has generated $2.3 billion in reservations,
accounting for over 7,000 truck reservations with deposits, for its new turbine-driven
hybrid Class 8 truck.
