Envisage touts private client work

The £3 million investment in new manufacturing technologies has enabled the return of the bespoke automotive coachbuilder, it is claimed.

Envisage Group, which builds show cars for many of the most prestigious European vehicle manufacturers, will launch the new private client service at the Top Marques show in Monaco next month.

The key to unlocking this capability is the substantial investment that the Envisage Group of 12 Herald Way, Binley, Coventry, West Midlands, UK, has made in state-of-the-art design and manufacturing technologies to support its work with a range of prestige vehicle manufacturers.

Ian Nisbett, previously a senior designer at JaguarLandRover, claims the company has invested more than £3 million in its new technical centre.

“We can build an entire car in virtual space, allowing our customers to explore an infinite range of styles and specifications. They can view their digital car from any angle, sit in it and close the door, even see it in their garage or next to their boat,” he says. “When they are completely happy, we make a full size model for sign-off.”

The key to unlocking this capability is the substantial investment made in state-of-the-art design and manufacturing technologies to support their work with prestige vehicle manufacturers that include Aston Martin, Bentley, Jaguar, Range Rover and Rolls-Royce.

Envisage Group claims to be a world-leader in the design, engineering and manufacture of vehicle concepts for shows, board reviews and engineering programmes.

Projects range from product design and analysis (including FEA, aerodynamics, structural analysis and NVH) through to complete vehicle modelling and prototype build.

Based at a new technical centre at the heart of the UK’s automotive industry, Envisage works closely with many of the world’s most demanding vehicle manufacturers and styling houses.
